Joy and sadness at the
same time is what I feel when i
see everything that is happening in Venezuela joy to see that people are using their right to fight for life, fight for the common good , and
sadness for all injustices being committed , I wish to the
venezuelan people could reflect from the
depths of their being,
and achieve to confront
the content of that
place that Carl Jung called "the shadow", bringing the
unconscious to the conscious and transform it, that would be the key
change for the country , the change will not come by simply because a
politician becomes the
leader of the country, may have good ideas but if people do not think
and act in accordance with natural laws then nothing will
change.
We should make an introspection and detect when we are failing as a human , question every thought and every feeling, everything has a reason , I have many memories of my youth when I lived there and there are many cultural elements that we ignore and which are what actually do harm to society , one that is derogatory remember much how one learned to refer to people of low income that word so terrible and known: " Dusty " was heard many times and many times i said it unconsciously , i say unconscious because at that time i was ignorant about a lot of things about life perhaps for lack of experience, experience that today and I have and i´m still gaining continuously , knowledge is something that never stops , is in continuous evolution , that simple fact that word is attributed to this being is an insult for his pure and eternal soul, to that divine spark that moves us and is part of the "whole", do you ever wonder what would you do if you had lived the life of that person? Would you have done it better? If you had the opportunity , would you choose to live the life of that person to speak properly ?
It is easy to criticize what has not been lived , it's easy to ignore the difficulties , shortcomings , and the elements that might affect the lives of others , which is why we should choose to live in accordance with natural laws if you want to see a real and effective change , to live in accordance with these laws is simple: " Do not do anything to prejudice or harm to another living being , unless it´s in defense of your own life."
Obviously there are more factors that influence the equation and most of them are based on being aware of our daily actions , simple things like not throwing garbage on the street , do not buy stolen goods, don´t seep in the cues, return back the change that someone´s gave you wrongly in your favor, return goods that people drop on the street , all those little details are shaping the overall picture of society, I think society is a reflection of the actions of each of its elements , if these people are educated with the right information , they will have a correct result , which we can not claim is to have a different outcome thinking and acting the same way, or expect a president to do magic and all change of overnight ... ahh So easy, isn´t it ?
But to come out of that state of inertia it takes effort and dedication , it is not easy to learn , learning takes time , read a lot of useful and practical information to introduce new elements in our mind, then process all that information in one way or another apply it to our daily lives , which we are already generating new experiences or new results that eventually become " wisdom " wisdom is applied knowledge and experienced over time , there are no magic formulas for change , no easy ways or shortcuts to knowledge , anyone who´s willing to change must also be willing to invest time and effort in learning .
If I have learned something over the last years is to try to be a better human being every day, treating others as I would like them to treat me, a smile a few words of encouragement or a simple gesture of help at the right time can change the life of another person in a blink of an eye, which may mean little to you for another who has nothing can mean so much , the key to happiness is to give the best of yourself whenever you can as long as you do not harm yourself doing it, you have to know how to evaluate the elements of each particular situation.
Finally I must say that there is a very important word to be able to use at the right time , especially when you know that something is going to hurt , that word is " NO" the not at the right time can save you a lot of head aches, often we do not use it because we are "forced" by ties of friendship and family and do things that do not make us feel good or go against our principles , that is generating conflict contradiction in our being , say " no" next time, if the person is not able to understand your reasons for this is because it is not able to get in your place. This " No " can also apply to collectively as a society, and that is what is making the Venezuelan today with protests , a gesture that fills us with hope for tomorrow , that is possible to work for a better future.
